To whom was referred a Bill (S. 970) to repeal Section 6-1-320, as amended, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to the limitation in millage rate, etc., respectfully

TO REPEAL SECTION 6-1-320, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE LIMITATION IN MILLAGE RATE INCREASES.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 6-1-320 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 145 of 2005, is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon ratification of a constitutional amendment limiting increases in the amount of millage a taxing jurisdiction or school district may impose.
