The House assembled at 10:00 a.m.
Deliberations were opened with prayer by Rev. Charles E. Seastrunk, Jr. as follows:

Our thought for today is from Proverbs 20:15: "Gold there is, and rubies in abundance, but lips that speak knowledge are a rare jewel."
Let us pray. Spirit of God, lighten our darkness of vision, enliven our weakness of purpose, and quicken our strength of conscience that we may live this day in nobler accomplishment and greater service. May what we say or do be pleasing in Your sight. Bless our Nation, President, State and leaders. Keep our defenders of freedom in Your safe care. In Your Holy name. Amen.

After corrections to the Journal of the proceedings of yesterday, the SPEAKER ordered it confirmed.

ADJOURNMENT

At 10:10 a.m. the House in accordance with the ruling of the SPEAKER adjourned to meet at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, March 29.
