To whom was referred a Bill (H. 3410) to amend Sections 33-1-200 and 33-31-120, as amended, both relating to the filing requirements of certain documents, so as to provide that, etc., respectfully

REPORT:

That they have duly and carefully considered the same and recommend that the same do pass:

A BILL

TO AMEND SECTIONS 33-1-200 AND 33-31-120, AS AMENDED, BOTH RELATING TO THE FILING REQUIREMENTS OF CERTAIN DOCUMENTS, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE DOCUMENT MUST BE IN A MEDIUM AND FORM AS PERMITTED BY THE SECRETARY OF STATE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Section 33-1-200(d) of the 1976 Code is amended to read:

"(d)    The document must be typewritten or printed in a medium and form as permitted by the Secretary of State."

SECTION    2.    Section 33-31-120(d) of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 384 of 1994, is further amended to read:

"(d)    The document must be typewritten or printed in a medium and form as permitted by the Secretary of State."

SECTION    3.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
