INVITATIONS AND MEMORIAL RESOLUTIONS

To whom was referred a Concurrent Resolution (H. 3786) to request that the Department of Transportation name the intersection of United States Highway 76 and Barnes Road/Templeton Road in Laurens County, etc., respectfully

REPORT:

That they have duly and carefully considered the same and recommend that the same do pass:

A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO REQUEST THAT THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION NAME THE INTERSECTION OF UNITED STATES HIGHWAY 76 AND BARNES ROAD/TEMPLETON ROAD IN LAURENS COUNTY THE "JAMES E. 'BUBBA' NORRIS MEMORIAL INTERSECTION" AND TO ERECT APPROPRIATE MARKERS OR SIGNS AT THIS INTERSECTION THAT CONTAIN THE WORDS "JAMES E. 'BUBBA' NORRIS MEMORIAL INTERSECTION".

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly request that the Department of Transportation name the intersection of United States Highway 76 and Barnes Road/Templeton Road in Laurens County the "James E. 'Bubba' Norris Memorial Intersection", and to erect appropriate markers or signs at this intersection that contain the words "James E. 'Bubba' Norris Memorial Intersection".

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Department of Transportation.
