TO RECOGNIZE AND COMMEND MR. CHUCK WENDT OF LEXINGTON COUNTY, VICE PRESIDENT OF MARKETING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS FOR LEXINGTON MEDICAL CENTER AND PRESIDENT OF LEXINGTON MEDICAL CENTER FOUNDATION, FOR HIS OUTSTANDING WORK IN SUPPORT OF LEXINGTON MEDICAL CENTER DURING HIS DISTINGUISHED CAREER.
Whereas, Chuck Wendt is Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations for Lexington Medical Center and President of Lexington Medical Center Foundation; and
Whereas, he joined the Lexington Medical Center in 1993 as President of the Lexington Medical Center Foundation and helped to build this wonderful foundation into an organization which provides critical financial and other assistance to the Lexington Medical Center and the citizens of Lexington County; and
Whereas, to date the Lexington Medical Center Foundation has raised more than nine million dollars which is a tribute to the dedication and efforts of Mr. Wendt and his team; and
Whereas, Chuck Wendt, in his role as Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations for the Lexington Medical Center, has helped to develop several award winning advertising campaigns for the medical center; and
Whereas, Chuck Wendt is also a community and civic leader in Lexington County serving on the boards of a number of important charitable organizations in Lexington County; and
Whereas, the members of the General Assembly, by this resolution, would like to publicly recognize and commend this truly outstanding South Carolinian for his work and efforts with the Lexington Medical Center which has helped make this institution one of the best hospital centers in this State. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the members of the General Assembly recognize and commend Mr. Chuck Wendt of Lexington County, Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations for Lexington Medical Center and President of Lexington Medical Center Foundation, for his outstanding work in support of Lexington Medical Center during his distinguished career.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Chuck Wendt.
