A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

THANKING MRS. JOAN S. WHEELER FOR HER MANY YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE CHEROKEE COUNTY REPUBLICAN PARTY, HONORING HER OUTSTANDING LEADERSHIP, AND WISHING HER MUCH CONTINUED SUCCESS IN HER FUTURE ENDEAVORS.

Whereas, Mrs. Joan S. Wheeler's loyal service began in 1991, when she joined the Cherokee County Republican Party; and

Whereas, she spent the past seven years dedicating her time and efforts to excellence in leadership as the Chairman of the Party, stepping down in November; and

Whereas, she has also served the party and the people of Cherokee County as a State Delegate; and

Whereas, the Cherokee County Republican Party has greatly benefited from her dynamic leadership, assiduous ardor, and exemplary commitment to the democratic process. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

That the South Carolina General Assembly, thank Mrs. Wheeler for her years of dedicated service to the Cherokee County Republican Party, honor her outstanding leadership, and wish her much success in all of her future endeavors.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mrs. Joan S. Wheeler
