A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO APPROPRIATE $9,154,990.63 FROM FISCAL YEAR 2007-2008 GENERAL FUND REVENUES TO SUPPLEMENT DISTRIBUTIONS TO SCHOOL DISTRICTS ADVERSELY IMPACTED BY THE UNREVISED 2007 INDEX OF TAXPAYING ABILITY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    There is appropriated from fiscal year 2007-2008 general fund revenues the sum of $9,154,990.63 to the State Department of Education to be distributed to school districts adversely impacted by the unrevised 2007 Index of Taxpaying Ability as follows:

Berkeley    $1,394,440.70

Dorchester 2    885,056.00

Dorchester 4    114,611.57

Florence 1    6,367.31

Florence 4    6,367.29

Lexington 1    865,954.07

Lexington 2    713,138.62

Lexington 4    24,269.24

Lexington 5    1,871,988.90

Richland 1    2,375,006.34

Richland 2    897,790.59

Total    $9,154,990.63

SECTION    2.    This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
