A BILL

TO REQUIRE THAT A SCHOOL IMPACT FEE IMPOSED BY LAW OR LOCAL ORDINANCE MAY BE USED FOR CLASSROOM OPERATIONAL EXPENSES.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Notwithstanding another provision of law, if a school impact fee is imposed by law or local ordinance it may be used for classroom operational expenses.

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
