TO CONGRATULATE MRS. MARGARET ANN ANDERSON ON THE OCCASION OF HER NINETIETH BIRTHDAY, AND TO WISH HER A JOYOUS BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION AND MANY MORE YEARS OF HEALTH AND HAPPINESS.
Whereas, the members of the South Carolina Senate are delighted to learn that Mrs. Margaret Ann Anderson will celebrate her ninetieth birthday on May 5, 2007; and
Whereas, Margaret Ann Anderson was born on May 5, 1917, in the early days of the twentieth century, and as that century and the beginnings of the twenty-first century have brought incredible changes and developments to this nation, Mrs. Anderson has been there to witness all of them; and
Whereas, Mrs. Anderson shared a loving marriage with the late Mr. Albert Anderson, whom she was married to for fifty years; and
Whereas, she is affectionately known as "Aunt Margaret Ann"; and
Whereas, it is with great pleasure that the members of the South Carolina Senate pause to honor this truly special lady and commend Mrs. Anderson for the many ways in which she has enriched the lives of those around her, and it is certain that this lovely South Carolina Lady will continue to do so for many more years to come. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the Senate of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulate Mrs. Margaret Ann Anderson on the occasion of her ninetieth birthday and wish her a joyous birthday celebration and many more years of health and happiness.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mrs. Margaret Ann Anderson.
