A SENATE RESOLUTION

TO CONGRATULATE MS. ANN LEE OF LEXINGTON COUNTY ON HER FIFTEEN YEARS OF OUTSTANDING WORK WITH THERE IS HOPE MINISTRIES AND ON RECEIVING THE PRESIDENT'S CALL TO SERVICE AWARD.

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina Senate are pleased to learn that Ms. Ann Lee will be honored for her fifteen years of ministerial work in the Central Midlands region of the State of South Carolina through There is Hope Ministries; and

Whereas, this celebration of her fifteen years of humanitarian service is a milestone worthy of note; and

Whereas, Ms. Lee is an ordained minister who is the founder of There is Hope Ministries which is dedicated to improving the lives of those who are less fortunate; and

Whereas, for her many years of service to mankind, she has been awarded the prestigious President's Call to Service Award; and

Whereas, there is no greater commendation that a community can render one of its faithful soldiers than to echo the Lord's words "Well done, good and faithful servant", and the members of the Senate join the residents of the Central Midlands region of the State in according this tribute to one of its long-time shepherds. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the Senate of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulate Ms. Ann Lee of Lexington County on her fifteen years of outstanding work with There is Hope Ministries and on receiving the President's Call to Service Award.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Ms. Ann Lee.
