The Senate assembled at 11:00 A.M., the hour to which it stood adjourned, and was called to order by the ACTING PRESIDENT, Senator LOURIE.

THIRD READING BILL

The following Resolution was read the third time and ordered sent to the House of Representatives:

S. 775 (Word version) -- Senators Scott and Lourie: A JOINT RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH THE MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS HEALTHCARE ACCESS STUDY COMMITTEE, TO PROVIDE FOR ITS MEMBERS, POWERS, AND DUTIES, AND TO DIRECT THE COMMITTEE TO STUDY THE AVAILABILITY OF HEALTH CARE SERVICES TO MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS PATIENTS IN THIS STATE AND REPORT ITS FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY BY JANUARY 1, 2009, AT WHICH TIME THE STUDY COMMITTEE IS ABOLISHED.

By prior motion of Senator SCOTT, with unanimous consent

MOTION ADOPTED

On motion of Senator ELLIOTT, with unanimous consent, the Senate stood adjourned out of respect to the memory of Mr. Chris Collins of North Myrtle Beach, S.C., golf professional at Beachwood Golf Club.

ADJOURNMENT

At 11:07 A.M., on motion of Senator PATTERSON, the Senate adjourned to meet next Tuesday, January 29, 2008, at 12:00 Noon.
