THE COMMITTEE ON WAYS AND MEANS

To whom was referred a Joint Resolution (H. 3581)

to further provide for fiscal year 2009-2010 for the functions and funding of certain local government, etc., respectfully

REPORT:

That they have duly and carefully considered the same and recommend that the same do pass with amendment:

Amend the joint resolution, as and if amended, by striking all after the enacting words and inserting:

/SECTION    1.    The provisions of Section 6-27-50 of the 1976 Code for fiscal year 2009-2010 are suspended.

SECTION    2.    This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.    /

Renumber sections to conform.

Amend title to conform.

A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO FURTHER PROVIDE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2009-2010 FOR THE FUNCTIONS AND FUNDING OF CERTAIN LOCAL GOVERNMENT MATTERS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    For fiscal year 2009-2010 the functions and funding of certain local government matters are as follows:

SECTION    2.    This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
