THE KERSHAW DELEGATION

To whom was referred a Bill (H. 4302) to amend Section 22-2-190, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to the county jury area designations for use in magistrates courts, so as to revise, etc., respectfully

REPORT:

That they have duly and carefully considered the same and recommend that the same do pass:

A BILL

TO AMEND SECTION 22-2-190, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE COUNTY JURY AREA DESIGNATIONS FOR USE IN MAGISTRATES COURTS, SO AS TO REVISE THE JURY AREAS FOR KERSHAW COUNTY TO PROVIDE FOR ONE JURY AREA COUNTYWIDE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Section 22-2-190(28) of the 1976 Code is amended to read:

"(28)    Kershaw County

DeKalb--Airport, Antioch, Camden Nos. 1-6, Cassatt, Charlotte Thompson, East Camden, Hermitage, Malvern Hill, Springdale, White's Garden, Riverdale

Buffalo--Bethune, Buffalo, Gates Ford

Flat Rock--Liberty Hill, Shaylor's Hill, Westville

Wateree--Doby's Mill, Elgin, Lugoff Nos. 1 and 2, Rabon's     Crossroads, Salt Pond One jury area countywide"

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
