TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE BOARD OF EXAMINERS IN SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY AND AUDIOLOGY, RELATING TO REQUIREMENTS OF LICENSURE FOR SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTS AND AUDIOLOGISTS, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 4254, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 1 OF THE 1976 CODE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The regulations of the Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, relating to Requirements of Licensure for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists, designated as Regulation Document Number 4254, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, Chapter 23, Title 1 of the 1976 Code, are approved.
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
To satisfy the requirements of licensure for speech-language pathologists and audiologists, Regulations 115-2 through 115-4 and 115-7 are updated in conformance with the current Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Practice Act.
