A HOUSE RESOLUTION

TO CONGRATULATE ROBERT L. SEAWRIGHT OF RICHLAND COUNTY ON THE OCCASION OF HIS SIXTIETH BIRTHDAY AND TO WISH HIM A JOYOUS BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION AND CONTINUED HEALTH AND HAPPINESS.

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives are delighted to learn that Robert L. Seawright of Richland County will celebrate his sixtieth birthday on March 18, 2012; and

Whereas, a native of Salley, Mr. Seawright was born on March 18, 1952; and

Whereas, employed by the State of South Carolina since 1980 with the Budget and Control Board, Robert L. Seawright is the shop supervisor for the Central Transportation Maintenance Facility. He has received the state's highest awards for his leadership, safety awareness, and overall shop maintenance and takes great pride in the upkeep of the state fleet and in offering superior care to his customers through knowledgeable employees; and

Whereas, Mr. Seawright, believing strongly in active community involvement, has served as president of the Bryneswood Neighborhood Association since 2008, prior to which time he served as vice president for several years. His many duties for that organization include assisting in beautification of the area at his own expense. Known as a reliable man, one generous with his time, he also assists needy families; and

Whereas, as a man of faith, Robert Seawright is a member of New Holland's Baughmanville Baptist Church, where he is a trustee; and

Whereas, Mr. Seawright finds his strongest encouragement in the support of his family, his wife, Linda A. Jones Seawright, and their two sons, Brandon and Jason. Among his greatest delights are his three grandsons, Judah, Christian, and Gabriel; and

Whereas, the House of Representatives is pleased to honor this son of South Carolina at the celebration of his sixtieth birthday and joins with his family and friends in congratulating him on reaching this important life milestone. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, congratulate Robert L. Seawright of Richland County on the occasion of his sixtieth birthday and wish him a joyous birthday celebration and continued health and happiness.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be provided to Robert L. Seawright.
