TO THANK MR. TOM LAIN FOR HIS DISTINGUISHED AND EXEMPLARY SERVICE TO THE PEOPLE OF SOUTH CAROLINA AND TO WISH HIM WELL IN HIS NEW ENDEAVORS.
Whereas, Tom Lain has been a teacher at Irmo High School in Columbia, South Carolina; and
Whereas, he has helped shape André Bauer for success through his friendship and guidance; and
Whereas, he knew André Bauer, from a young age, would fully dedicate himself to whatever endeavor he chose; and
Whereas, he has volunteered many hours of his time in the office of The Honorable André Bauer, Lieutenant Governor of the State of South Carolina, serving as a link between the citizens of South Carolina and their government; and
Whereas, he is universally regarded as a Christian gentleman worthy of friendship and admiration. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the Senate, by this resolution, thank Mr. Tom Lain for his selfless dedication to the people of the State of South Carolina.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Tom Lain.
