INVITATIONS AND MEMORIAL RESOLUTIONS

To whom was referred a Concurrent Resolution (S. 1569)

to request that the Department of Transportation name the port access road in North Charleston the "Robert Ford Port, etc., respectfully

REPORT:

That they have duly and carefully considered the same and recommend that the same do pass:

A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO REQUEST THAT THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION NAME THE PORT ACCESS ROAD IN NORTH CHARLESTON THE "ROBERT FORD PORT CONNECTOR".

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly request that the Department of Transportation name the port access road for the Port of Charleston Navy Base Terminal in North Charleston the "Robert Ford Port Connector" and erect appropriate markers or signs along this portion of roadway that contain the words "Robert Ford Port Connector".

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Department of Transportation.
