TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE BOARD OF FUNERAL SERVICE, RELATING TO REQUIREMENTS OF LICENSURE FOR FUNERAL SERVICE PROVIDERS, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 4318, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 1 OF THE 1976 CODE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The regulations of the Board of Funeral Service, relating to Requirements of Licensure for Funeral Service Providers, designated as Regulation Document Number 4318, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, Chapter 23, Title 1 of the 1976 Code, are approved.
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
To satisfy the requirements of licensure for funeral service providers, Regulations 57-01, 57-06.1, 57-09, 57-11, 57-14.3 through 57-14.4 must be amended in conformance with the current Board of Funeral Service Practice Act.
