To whom was referred a Concurrent Resolution (S. 1191) to disapprove amendments to the South Carolina Rules of Criminal Procedure, as promulgated by the Supreme Court of South Carolina and submitted to, etc., respectfully

REPORT:

That they have duly and carefully considered the same and recommend that the same do pass:

A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO DISAPPROVE AMENDMENTS TO THE SOUTH CAROLINA RULES OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE, AS PROMULGATED BY THE SUPREME COURT OF SOUTH CAROLINA AND SUBMITTED TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY PURSUANT TO SECTION 4A, ARTICLE V OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THIS STATE.

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

That the amendments to the South Carolina Rules of Criminal Procedure, as promulgated by the Supreme Court of South Carolina and submitted to the General Assembly on January 28, 2016, pursuant to the provisions of Article V of the South Carolina Constitution are disapproved.
