INVITATIONS AND MEMORIAL RESOLUTIONS

To whom was referred a Concurrent Resolution (S. 1330) to request that the Department of Transportation name the intersection located at the juncture of Interstate 77 and Decker Boulevard in Richland County the "Senator Joel Lourie Interchange", etc., respectfully

REPORT:

That they have duly and carefully considered the same and recommend that the same do pass:

A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO REQUEST THAT THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION NAME THE INTERSECTION LOCATED AT THE JUNCTURE OF INTERSTATE 77 AND DECKER BOULEVARD IN RICHLAND COUNTY THE "SENATOR JOEL LOURIE INTERCHANGE" AND TO ERECT APPROPRIATE MARKERS OR SIGNS AT THIS LOCATION THAT CONTAIN THIS DESIGNATION.

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

That members of the General Assembly request that the Department of Transportation name the intersection located at the juncture of Interstate 77 and Decker Boulevard in Richland County the "Senator Joel Lourie Interchange" and to erect appropriate markers or signs at this location that contain this designation.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Department of Transportation and Senator Joel Lourie.
