A SENATE RESOLUTION

TO AUTHORIZE THE SOUTH CAROLINA STUDENT LEGISLATURE TO USE THE CHAMBER OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA SENATE FOR ITS ANNUAL STATE HOUSE MEETING FROM OCTOBER 24 THROUGH OCTOBER 26, 2018, AND TO PROVIDE THAT THE CHAMBER MAY NOT BE USED IF THE SENATE IS IN SESSION OR THE CHAMBER IS OTHERWISE UNAVAILABLE.

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution, authorize the South Carolina Student Legislature to use the chamber of the South Carolina Senate for its annual State House meeting from October 24 through October 26, 2018; however, the chamber may not be used if the Senate is in session or the chamber is otherwise unavailable.

Be it further resolved that the State House security forces shall provide assistance and access as necessary for this meeting in accordance with previous procedures.

Be it further resolved that no charges may be made for the use of the Senate chamber by the South Carolina Student Legislature on this date.
