TO CONGRATULATE LAVERN PRIOLEAU GLOVER UPON THE OCCASION OF HER RETIREMENT, TO COMMEND HER FOR HER THIRTY-TWO YEARS OF DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE TO THE SOUTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, AND TO WISH HER CONTINUED SUCCESS IN ALL HER FUTURE ENDEAVORS.
Whereas, Lavern Glover began her career with the South Carolina Department of Highways and Public Transportation in 1986 and has worked in Human Resources, Compliance and DBE, and Public Transit; and
Whereas, during her many years of service, she has received numerous accolades, and she has served as a member of many professional and community organizations. The members of the South Carolina Senate are grateful for the passion, dignity, and tenacity that Lavern Glover has shown in serving the people and the State of South Carolina. The members take immense pleasure in wishing her well as she enters retirement. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution, congratulate Lavern Prioleau Glover upon the occasion of her retirement, commend her for her thirty-two years of dedicated public service to the South Carolina Department of Transportation, and wish her continued success in all her future endeavors.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Lavern Prioleau Glover.
