VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
TO ALLOW A LOCAL GOVERNMENT TO BE REIMBURSED FOR THE CLEAN-UP COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH HURRICANE MATTHEW IN THE 2018-2019 ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS ACT ONLY IF THE CLEAN-UP PROJECT IS COMPLETED BY JANUARY 1, 2018.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, in the 2018-2019 annual general appropriations act, a local government may be reimbursed for the clean-up costs associated with Hurricane Matthew only if the clean-up project is completed by January 1, 2018.
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
