A BILL

TO AMEND SECTION 61-4-1760 OF THE 1976 CODE, RELATING TO OFF-PREMISES SALES OR SHIPMENTS BY BREWPUBS, TO PROVIDE THAT BREWPUBS MAY SELL BEER AT CERTAIN SPECIAL EVENTS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Section 61-4-1760 of the 1976 Code is amended to read:

"Section 61-4-1760.    No brewpub permittee may sell or ship the beer produced on the permitted premises for sale in another location., except when the beer is sold at a promotional show, trade show, fair, festival, or carnival operated for a period of less than twelve consecutive days, whether or not an admissions fee is required."

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
