A BILL

TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY REPEALING SECTION 17-3-30 RELATING TO AFFIDAVITS OF INABILITY TO EMPLOY COUNSEL AND PAYMENT OF FEES; AND BY REPEALING SECTION 17-3-40 RELATING TO THE CREATION OF A CLAIM AGAINST ASSETS AND ESTATE OF A PERSON FOR WHOM COUNSEL IS PROVIDED.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Sections 17-3-30 and 17-3-40 of the 1976 Code are repealed.

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
