A HOUSE RESOLUTION

TO CONGRATULATE ESTHER EDENS DUBOSE, A KINDERGARTEN TEACHER AT ROYALL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, UPON THE OCCASION OF HER RETIREMENT AFTER THIRTY-TWO YEARS OF OUTSTANDING SERVICE AND TO WISH HER CONTINUED SUCCESS AND HAPPINESS IN ALL HER FUTURE ENDEAVORS.

Whereas, it is altogether fitting and proper that the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives should pause in their deliberations to express their gratitude to Esther Edens DuBose for her significant contributions to the elementary education of the State's most valuable resource, our children; and

Whereas, in preparation for her life's work, she earned a bachelor's degree from Winthrop University in 1985 and a Masters in Education from Francis Marion University; and

Whereas, in her thirty-two years of teaching, seven years were spent in private education at All Saints' Episcopal Day School in Florence and she is now retiring from teaching kindergarten at Royall Elementary School in Florence; and

Whereas, grateful for her many years of distinguished service to educating children in the Palmetto State, the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives take great pleasure in extending best wishes to Esther DuBose as she transitions to a richly deserved retirement and the leisurely pace of the days ahead. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, congratulate Esther Edens DuBose, a kindergarten teacher at Royall Elementary School, upon the occasion of her retirement after thirty-two years of outstanding service and wish her continued success and happiness in all her future endeavors.
