REGULAR SESSION BEGINNING TUESDAY, JANUARY 8, 2019
The House assembled at 10:00 A.M.
Deliberations were opened with prayer by Rev. Charles E. Seastrunk, Jr., as follows:
Our thought for today is from Zephaniah 3:14: "Rejoice and exult with all your heart."
Let us pray. Let us rejoice and exult with all our heart that You are a Holy God that loves and cares for His people. Now, help us to acknowledge Your love and pass it on to all we come in contact with. We give You thanks for Your care and protection of us and our families. Grant Your people a safe, restful, and enjoyable weekend. Protect our defenders of freedom and first responders as they protect us. Bless our defenders of freedom and first responders as they protect us. Bless our Nation, President, State, Governor, Speaker, staff, and all who contribute to this great cause. Heal the wounds, those seen and those hidden, of our brave warriors who suffer and sacrifice for our freedom. Lord, in Your mercy, hear our prayers. Amen.
