To whom was referred a Bill (H. 3369) to amend the Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by repealing Section 20-1-300 relating to the issuance of a marriage license to minors when the female, etc., respectfully

That they have duly and carefully considered the same and recommend that the same do pass:

A BILL

TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY REPEALING SECTION 20-1-300 RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF A MARRIAGE LICENSE TO MINORS WHEN THE FEMALE IS PREGNANT OR HAS GIVEN BIRTH TO A CHILD.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Section 20-1-300 of the 1976 Code is repealed.

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
