A BILL

TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY REPEALING SECTION 1-30-75 RELATING TO THE TRANSFER OF AUTHORITY AND DUTIES FROM CERTAIN AGENCIES TO THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES; BY REPEALING SECTION 11-37-200 RELATING TO THE WATER RESOURCES COORDINATING COUNCIL; BY REPEALING SECTION 49-3-30 RELATING TO THE TRANSFER OF THE WATER RESOURCES COMMISSION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES; AND BY REPEALING SECTIONS 50-3-10 AND 50-3-150 BOTH RELATING TO THE TRANSFER OF THE WILDLIFE AND MARINE RESOURCES DEPARTMENT TO THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Sections 1-30-75, 11-37-200, 49-3-30, 50-3-10, and 50-3-150 of the 1976 Code are repealed.

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
