A BILL

TO AMEND SECTION 7-7-350, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE DESIGNATION OF VOTING PRECINCTS IN LANCASTER COUNTY, SO AS TO REVISE THE NAMES OF FIVE PRECINCTS, AND TO UPDATE THE MAP NUMBER ON WHICH THE NAMES OF THESE PRECINCTS MAY BE FOUND AND MAINTAINED BY THE REVENUE AND FISCAL AFFAIRS OFFICE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Section 7-7-350 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 150 of 2018, is further amended to read:

"Section 7-7-350.    (A)    In Lancaster County there are the following voting precincts:

521 North

Antioch

Black Horse Run

Buford

Camp Creek

Carmel

Chesterfield Avenue

College Park

Douglas

Dwight

Elgin

Erwin Farm

Gold Hill

Gooch's Cross Road

Harrisburg

Heath Springs

Hyde Park

Jacksonham

Kershaw North

Kershaw South

Lake House

Lancaster East

Lancaster West

Lynwood Drive

McIlwain

Midway

Osceola

Pleasant Hill

Pleasant Valley

Possum Hollow

Rich Hill

River Road

Riverside

Shelley Mullis

Spring Hill

Springdale

The Lodge

Tradesville

Unity

University

Van Wyck

(B)    The precinct lines defining the above precincts are as shown on maps filed with the clerk of court of the county and also on file with the State Election Commission as provided and maintained by the Revenue and Fiscal Affairs Office designated as document P-57-18 P-57-21.

(C)    The polling places for the precincts provided in this section must be established by the Board of Voter Registration and Elections of Lancaster County subject to approval by a majority of the Lancaster County Legislative Delegation."

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
