TO DIRECT THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL TO INCLUDE PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHERS AND SUPPORT STAFF IN PHASE 1A OF ITS COVID-19 VACCINE PLAN FOR PURPOSES OF THE ROLLOUT OF INITIAL VACCINE DOSES IN THIS STATE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The Department of Health and Environmental Control shall include public school teachers and support staff employed in public school buildings in Phase 1a of the department's COVID-19 Vaccine Plan for purposes of the rollout of initial vaccine doses in this State.
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
