To who was referred a Joint Resolution (S. 123) to create the "Permanent Authorization Joint Resolution of the South Carolina First Steps to School Readiness Act"; and permanently authorizes the Act and repeals, etc., respectfully

A joint Resolution

 

TO create the "Permanent Authorization Joint Resolution of the South Carolina First Steps to School Readiness Act"; and Permanently authorize the Act and repeal former sections as it relates to the repeal and reauthorization of the Act.

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

 

SECTION 1. The South Carolina First Steps to School Readiness Act, as amended, is permanently authorized. The provisions contained in Section 8 of Act 99 of 1999 relating to reauthorization are hereby repealed.

 

SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
