A house RESOLUTION

 

TO CONGRATULATE CAROL C. BOLER OF THE FIFTH CIRCUIT SOLICITOR'S OFFICE UPON THE OCCASION OF HER RETIREMENT AS RECORDS DEPARTMENT DATA ENTRY SUPERVISOR, TO COMMEND HER FOR NEARLY HALF A CENTURY OF DEDICATED SERVICE, AND TO WISH HER MUCH CONTINUED SUCCESS AND FULFILLMENT IN THE YEARS AHEAD.

 

Whereas, it is altogether fitting and proper that the South Carolina House of Representatives should pause in its deliberations to express its gratitude to Carol C. Boler for her outstanding contributions to the Fifth Circuit Solicitor's Office; and

 

Whereas, born on February 1, 1958, Carol C. Boler is a native of Columbia. She and her husband, Errol, are the proud parents of two sons, Scottie (Karlyn) and Blair, and the delighted grandparents of three beautiful granddaughters, Kaylyn, Cameron, and Skylar; and

 

Whereas, the young Carol began her career with the Fifth Circuit Solicitor's Office in 1977 as a senior clerk typist. In 1979, she was promoted to data entry supervisor of the Records Department, where she continues to serve. Indeed, she has spent her entire career with the Fifth Circuit Solicitor's Office; and

 

Whereas, Mrs. Boler's reliability and dedication to the Fifth Circuit Solicitor's Office propelled her to serve the people of Richland County with sustained excellence for forty-six years. Respected and admired by those both inside and outside of the office, she has influenced many by her example of loyalty and hard work and through the positive impact she has had on their lives; and

 

Whereas, on April 28, 2023, Carol Boler will retire from her position with the Fifth Judicial Circuit, and on May 4, 2023, her colleagues will gather to honor her and celebrate with her. Carol loves spending time with her family and is looking forward to the wonderful adventures that await in this new chapter of her life; and

 

Whereas, grateful for the commitment and excellence Mrs. Boler has shown in serving the people and the State of South Carolina, the House extends to her best wishes for a contented retirement. Now, therefore,

 

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

 

That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, congratulate Carol C. Boler of the Fifth Circuit Solicitor's Office upon the occasion of her retirement as Records Department data entry supervisor, commend her for nearly half a century of dedicated service, and wish her much continued success and fulfillment in the years ahead.

 

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Carol C. Boler.
