A senate RESOLUTION
To honor and celebrate multicultural businesses across the State for their contributions to economic growth, innovation, workforce development, and community resilience, and to designate April 14, 2026, as "Multicultural Business Alliance Day" in the State of South Carolina.
Whereas, the State of South Carolina proudly embraces the richness and diversity of its communities, recognizing that the blending of cultures strengthens the social, educational, and economic fabric of our great State; and
Whereas, Mota Crosslinking Business Academy, together with its MEG Foundation, has championed the cause of equal opportunity, business education, and entrepreneurship for individuals of all races and cultural backgrounds, providing invaluable resources and guidance for aspiring and established entrepreneurs; and
Whereas, in celebrating multiculturalism, South Carolina acknowledges the importance of closing gaps in access to business opportunities, encouraging cultural exchange, and embracing progressive ideas that foster collaboration, innovation, and economic growth; and
Whereas, the achievements of multicultural entrepreneurs inspire all citizens of South Carolina to pursue their dreams, contribute to the community, and strengthen the state's economy through inclusive and equitable business practices; and
Whereas, all South Carolinians are encouraged to celebrate this day with programs, events, and activities that honor multicultural entrepreneurship, highlight the value of inclusive business education, and inspire continued collaboration across cultures and communities; and
Whereas, it is fitting to honor the dedication of those who advocate for diversity, equity, and empowerment in the business world, and to recognize the positive impact of their work on communities throughout South Carolina. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution, honor and celebrate multicultural businesses across the State for their contributions to economic growth, innovation, workforce development, and community resilience, and designate April 14, 2026, as "Multicultural Business Alliance Day" in the State of South Carolina.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Mota Crosslinking Business Academy.
