VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
A concurrent RESOLUTION
TO RECOGNIZE AND HONOR THE MEMBERS OF THE FORT MILL AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY POST #43 AND TO CONGRATULATE THEM UPON THE ONE HUNDREDTH ANNIVERSARY OF the Fort Mill AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY.
Whereas, the South Carolina General Assembly is pleased to learn that American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) Post #43 in Fort Mill is celebrating a century of selfless service and making a difference for veterans, service members, and their families; and
Whereas, since the auxiliary's inception on November 10, 1919, Auxiliary members and nonmember volunteers have been tirelessly carrying out the ALA's commitment as a patriotic service organization whose mission would be to advocate for, help, and honor the United States military, veterans, and their families, and to support The American Legion; and
Whereas, on Saturday, October 11, 2025, auxiliary members will celebrate their one hundred years of service through Fort Mill's Post #43 with a dinner, distinguished speakers, and dancing at the Fort Mill American Legion Hall. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the members of the South Carolina General Assembly, by this resolution, recognize and honor the members of the Fort Mill American Legion Auxiliary Post #43 and congratulate them upon the one hundredth anniversary of the Fort Mill American Legion Auxiliary.
