A house RESOLUTION

 

TO celebrate THE LANCASTER COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FOR ITS DEDICATED AND FAITHFUL SERVICE TO THE LANCASTER COUNTY BUSINESS COMMUNITY and to congratulate this worthy organization upon the OCCASION OF its SEVENTIETH ANNIVERSARY.

 

Whereas, the South Carolina House of Representatives is gratified to learn that the Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce will celebrate its seventieth anniversary in 2026; and

 

Whereas, the mission of the Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce is to champion Lancaster County's business community by connecting members, fostering economic growth, advocating for sound public policy, and enhancing quality of life so that Lancaster County remains a vibrant place to live, work, and do business; and

 

Whereas, the vision of the Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce is a united, thriving Lancaster County where businesses grow, communities prosper, and every person finds opportunity; and

 

Whereas, the Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce comprises over four hundred members representing over ten thousand employees who are driving the economic viability of Lancaster County; and

 

Whereas, the chamber serves as the voice of business for Lancaster County through its advocacy program, including the Government and Community Relations Committee, which identifies legislative and regulatory trends affecting the business community with the goal of creating a better business climate for all; and

 

Whereas, grateful for the critical services rendered by the Lancaster County Chamber to its community, the House takes great pleasure in saluting the chamber's board of directors, staff, and members on reaching the important milestone of seven decades of service. Now, therefore,

 

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

 

That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, celebrate the Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce for its dedicated and faithful service to the Lancaster County business community and congratulate this worthy organization upon the occasion of its seventieth anniversary.

 

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to the Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
