A senate RESOLUTION

 

TO RECOGNIZE AND HONOR Zeus Industrial Products SOUTH CAROLINA FOR ADVANCING TO THE TOP FOUR OF THE 2026 MANUFACTURING MADNESS: THE COOLEST THING MADE IN SOUTH CAROLINA CONTEST.

 

Whereas Zeus Industrial Products is an advanced manufacturing company with multiple facilities across South Carolina, including in Orangeburg, Aiken, Gaston, St. Matthews, and Columbia; and

 

Whereas, Zeus employs over two thousand people across its South Carolina operations, providing high-quality jobs and supporting a highly skilled workforce that contributes to the continued growth and innovation of the State's advanced manufacturing sector; and

 

Whereas, Zeus produces the PFX Flex™ Sub-Lite-Wall™, a next-generation catheter liner designed to support a wide range of medical applications, including neurovascular procedures and structural heart therapies; and

 

Whereas, launched in 2026, the PFX Flex™ Sub-Lite-Wall™ liner represents an innovative advancement in medical manufacturing, delivering high lubricity, strong bonding capability, and expanded sterilization compatibility as an alternative to traditional film-cast PTFE; and

 

Whereas, Zeus is dedicated to supporting the communities where its employees live and work, with local charitable efforts benefiting organizations such as Golden Harvest Food Bank, Oliver Gospel Mission, the American Heart Association, Prisma Health Children's Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, Toys for Tots, Salvation Army Angel Tree, Epworth Children's Home, and more; and

 

Whereas, with more than six thousand manufacturing facilities producing world-class products across South Carolina, Zeus has advanced to the Top Four of the 2026 Manufacturing Madness: The Coolest Thing Made in South Carolina contest, distinguishing itself among one hundred and twenty-one nominated products.  Now, therefore,

 

Be it resolved by the Senate:

 

That the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution, recognize and honor Zeus Industrial Products South Carolina for advancing to the top four of the 2026 Manufacturing Madness: The Coolest Thing Made in South Carolina contest.

 

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to the president and CEO of Zeus Industrial Products South Carolina.
