A senate RESOLUTION

 

TO CONGRATULATE Small Impressions Child Development Center UPON THE OCCASION OF ITS Twentieth ANNIVERSARY AND TO COMMEND the center FOR ITS MANY YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE Greenville COMMUNITY AND THE PEOPLE AND THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA.

 

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina Senate are pleased to recognize Small Impressions Childhood Development Center as it celebrates this important milestone; and

 

Whereas, Small Impressions Child Development Center opened its doors on May 8, 2006, as a child development center offering quality childcare for children six weeks to twelve years of age. The center, located in Taylors, hosts a sensory room for infants, a discovery room for one-year-old children, and an adventure room for two-year-old children, as well as kindergarten preparation, a reading program, an afterschool program, and summer camps; and

 

Whereas, Small Impressions serves not only as a childcare provider, but as a social service connector for the parents and families of the students enrolled. The center has a team of dedicated staff that assists parents in obtaining employment, shelter, medical insurance, childcare vouchers, and medical appointments, and that is present at school conferences to celebrate student accomplishments or discuss behavioral issues; and

 

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina Senate greatly appreciate the dedication and commitment of Small Impressions Child Development Center to serving the people and the State of South Carolina.  Now, therefore,

 

Be it resolved by the Senate:

 

That the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution, congratulate Small Impressions Childhood Development Center upon the occasion of its twentieth anniversary and commend Small Impressions Child Development Center for its many years of dedicated service to the Greenville community and the people and the State of South Carolina.

 

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Small Impressions Childhood Development Center.
