A house RESOLUTION

 

TO AUTHORIZE THE SOUTH CAROLINA AMERICAN REVOLUTION SESTERCENTENNIAL COMMISSION TO USE THE CHAMBER OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES FOR ITS MEETING ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 16, 2026. HOWEVER, THE CHAMBER MAY NOT BE USED IF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES IS IN SESSION OR THE CHAMBER IS OTHERWISE UNAVAILABLE.

 

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

 

That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, authorize the South Carolina American Revolution Sestercentennial Commission to use the chamber of the South Carolina House of Representatives for its meeting on Friday, January 16, 2026. However, the chamber may not be used if the House of Representatives is in session or the chamber is otherwise unavailable.

 

Be it further resolved that the State House security forces shall provide assistance and access as necessary for this meeting in accordance with previous procedures.

 

Be it further resolved that no charges may be made for the use of the House chamber by the South Carolina American Revolution Sestercentennial Commission on this date.
