Quency Grant, Khristian Jackson, Mounir Spann, and Jordan Best won the 4x100 relay with a time of 40.88 seconds; and

Whereas, success at this level is the result of relentless work, demanding practices, team effort, and sportsmanship. A testament to the teamwork and determined efforts put forth by the staff and runners alike to continue to grow and improve their program. In the past four years, the Ridge View boys track and field team has won three regional championships and two state titles; and

Whereas, in a sport that demands strength, speed, and tireless effort, Head Coach Charles Proctor and his skilled coaching staff utilized their own experience, passion, and training to forge a championship-caliber team and teach these athletes life principles that will endure beyond the track and field; and

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives appreciate the pride and recognition that the Ridge View boys track and field team have brought to their school and community. The House is honored to recognize these outstanding student athletes for their accomplishments both on and off the track and field. The members look forward to following their future achievements in the days to come. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
