A house RESOLUTION

 

TO RECOGNIZE AND COMMEND YOUNG & YOUNG FUNERAL HOME OF HARTSVILLE FOR NEARLY EIGHTY YEARS OF OUTSTANDING SERVICE THROUGHOUT DARLINGTON COUNTY AND TO EXTEND THE BEST WISHES OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES FOR MANY MORE YEARS OF SUCCESS.

 

Whereas, Young & Young Funeral Home has long served as a trusted and respected funeral service provider for families in Hartsville and throughout Darlington County. Known for its compassionate care and dedication to honoring the lives of those who have passed, the funeral home has played an important role in supporting the community during times of loss; and

 

Whereas, founded by members of the Young family in 1947, the funeral home was established to provide dignified and professional funeral services to the people of Hartsville and the surrounding Pee Dee region. Built on a foundation of faith, service, and community responsibility, Young & Young has assisted generations of families in celebrating the lives and legacies of their loved ones; and

 

Whereas, from its earliest days, the funeral home sought to provide thoughtful and personalized services that reflect the traditions and cultural values of the families it serves. Over the years, Young & Young Funeral Home has offered a full range of funeral services, including traditional funerals, memorial services, cremation options, and preplanning assistance for families preparing for the future; and

 

Whereas, as the business grew, the Young family remained committed to maintaining a strong connection with the Hartsville community. The funeral home became known not only as a place where families could gather to remember and celebrate the lives of loved ones but also as an institution rooted in service and compassion; and

 

Whereas, today, Young & Young Funeral Home continues its long tradition of caring for families with dignity and respect. Through decades of dedicated service, the funeral home remains an important part of the community, helping families preserve memories, honor legacies, and find comfort during life's most difficult moments. Now, therefore,

 

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

 

That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, recognize and commend Young & Young Funeral Home of Hartsville for nearly eighty years of outstanding service throughout Darlington County and extend the best wishes of the South Carolina House of Representatives for many more years of success.

 

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Young & Young Funeral Home.
