A house RESOLUTION
TO RECOGNIZE EVA REED WILSON, MISS GOLDEN CORNER'S TEEN; TO COMMEND THE EXCEPTIONAL DISCIPLINE, ASPIRATIONS, AND TALENT THAT HAVE ENABLED HER TO REPRESENT THE GOLDEN CORNER AREA WITH DIGNITY AND POISE; AND TO WELCOME HER TO THE SOUTH CAROLINA STATE HOUSE ON APRIL 22, 2026, AS PART OF A STATE HOUSE DAY WITH THE MISS SOUTH CAROLINA ORGANIZATION.
Whereas, the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives are pleased to learn that Eva Reed Wilson of Anderson, the current Miss Golden Corner's Teen, will be visiting the South Carolina State House on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, as part of a State House Day with the Miss South Carolina Organization; and
Whereas, this teen beauty is grateful for the opportunity her title is affording her to help advance opportunities for early childhood education and literacy among our youth. To accomplish her goals in this worthy social impact initiative, "Thrive at Five," she is partnering with the United Way of Anderson; and
Whereas, during her reign, she has provided a gracious and graceful role model that represents the combined qualities of intellect, talent, loveliness, and charm admired by all who know her; and
Whereas, the South Carolina House of Representatives takes great pleasure in recognizing such an outstanding young lady as Eva Reed Wilson, and the members wish her well as she continues her reign and pursues her dreams in the days to come. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, recognize Eva Reed Wilson, Miss Golden Corner's Teen; commend the exceptional discipline, aspirations, and talent that have enabled her to represent the Golden Corner area with dignity and poise; and welcome her to the South Carolina State House on April 22, 2026, as part of a State House Day with the Miss South Carolina Organization.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Eva Reed Wilson.
