A senate RESOLUTION

 

to recognize and honor dr. kevin p. lewis for his contributions to the field of chiropractic care.

 

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina Senate are pleased to recognize Dr. Kevin P. Lewis for dutifully serving the citizens of South Carolina in his capacity as a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine; and

 

Whereas, a native of Greenville, Dr. Lewis is a 2001 graduate of The Citadel, where he earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and a minor in history, and a 2010 graduate of Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic; and

 

Whereas, the Greenville Spine Institute, under Dr. Lewis' leadership, aims to alleviate pain and discomfort in everyday activities such as sleeping, working, and enjoying life, and seeks to reduce the depression, stress, and worry that rob individuals of joy and vitality; and

 

Whereas, specializing in the Gonstead method of chiropractic care, Dr. Lewis has helped countless patients find not just temporary relief but lasting healing through treatment plans that go beyond masking pain and address underlying causes; and

 

Whereas, Dr. Lewis has served as the president of the South Carolina Chiropractic Association from 2024 to 2025. Under his leadership, the SCCA has advanced the chiropractic profession and promoted high standards of care throughout the State; and

 

Whereas, a devoted family man, Dr. Lewis is married to Erin Lewis, and together they are the proud parents of six children. They reside in Taylors, where they are active members of the community; and

 

Whereas, the members of the South Carolina Senate are grateful for Dr. Lewis' dedication to holistic, compassionate health care and his efforts to elevate the chiropractic profession across the State. Now, therefore,

 

Be it resolved by the Senate:

 

That the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution, recognize and honor Dr. Kevin P. Lewis for his contributions to the field of chiropractic care.

 

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Dr. Kevin P. Lewis.
