A senate RESOLUTION
TO RECOGNIZE AND HONOR THE MEMBERS OF THE YORK COUNTY REPUBLICAN PARTY, YORK COUNTY REPUBLICAN WOMEN, CLOVER / LAKE WYLIE REPUBLICAN WOMEN, AND REPUBLICAN WOMEN RISING FOR THEIR EXCEPTIONAL GRASSROOTS LEADERSHIP AND UNWAVERING COMMITMENT TO ADVANCING TRADITIONAL FAMILY VALUES, PROTECTING WOMEN AND GIRLS, AND DEFENDING PARENTAL RIGHTS IN EDUCATION AND MEDICINE, AND TO COMMEND THEM FOR THEIR DEDICATION TO THE REPUBLICAN MISSION.
Whereas, the members of the York County Republican Party, York County Republican Women, Clover/Lake Wylie Republican Women, and Republican Women Rising have demonstrated extraordinary dedication to the principles that form the foundation of a strong and free society, including faith, family, personal responsibility, and limited government; and
Whereas, these organizations and their members have played a vital role in grassroots organizing throughout York County and beyond, investing countless volunteer hours to educate citizens, mobilize voters, support conservative candidates, and strengthen civic engagement at the local and state levels; and
Whereas, these conservative leaders have been at the forefront of defending traditional family values and have courageously advocated for the protection of women and girls, particularly in safeguarding privacy, fairness, and safety in single-sex spaces; and
Whereas, these organizations have been steadfast champions of parental rights, recognizing that parents-not government bureaucracies-are the primary decision-makers in their children's education and medical care, and have worked diligently to ensure transparency, accountability, and common-sense policies in schools and healthcare settings; and
Whereas, their efforts reflect a deep commitment to the Republican mission by promoting constitutional principles, individual liberty, free speech, religious freedom, and policies that put families, communities, and taxpayers first. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution, recognize and honor the members of the York County Republican Party, York County Republican Women, Clover/Lake Wylie Republican Women, and Republican Women Rising for their outstanding grassroots efforts, principled leadership, and unwavering commitment to advancing traditional family values, protecting women and girls, and defending parental rights in education and medicine; and
Be it further resolved that that the Senate extends its sincere gratitude and appreciation to these dedicated conservatives for their service to their communities, their State, and their country, and wishes them continued success in their efforts to advance the Republican mission; and
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to representatives of the York County Republican Party, York County Republican Women, Clover/Lake Wylie Republican Women, and Republican Women Rising.
