A senate RESOLUTION
TO CONGRATULATE Bobbie Hill UPON THE OCCASION OF HER RETIREMENT, TO COMMEND HER FOR HER forty YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE, AND TO WISH HER MUCH HAPPINESS AND FULFILLMENT IN THE YEARS AHEAD.
Whereas, the members of the South Carolina Senate are pleased to recognize Bobbie Hill upon the occasion of her retirement from Greenville County Family Court; and
Whereas, Ms. Hill began her career with the Greenville County Family Court in the Accounting Department in 1985. She spent her early years ensuring the court's foundation was built on precision and integrity. As her career evolved, she transitioned to the Docket Department, where she moved from managing numbers to managing the heartbeat of the court; and
Whereas, Ms. Hill's career is a forty-year testament to the fact that public service is about people, not just paperwork. Whether she was balancing accounts or navigating complex dockets, she did so with an unwavering commitment to the citizens of Greenville County. Her willingness to go the extra mile for a citizen in need or a colleague in a bind has left an indelible mark on our judicial system; and
Whereas, Ms. Hill's integrity and compassion are irreplaceable. Having met numerous individuals throughout her tenure, she leaves behind a legacy of hard work that has shaped the very fabric of the Halton Road Courthouse. Her presence will be deeply missed; and
Whereas, a devout Christian, she is a member of Kingdom Life Church in Simpsonville, under the leadership of Pastor Alex Sands; and
Whereas, Ms. Hill is the mother of two sons, Kevin Hill and Joshua Hill-Gamble. She also has four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and
Whereas, the members of the South Carolina Senate appreciate the passion and dedication that Ms. Hill has shown in serving the people and the State of South Carolina. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution, congratulate Bobbie Hill upon the occasion of her retirement, commend her for her forty years of dedicated service, and wish her much happiness and fulfillment in the years ahead.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Bobbie Hill.
