Summary: Sheriff elections
    A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 23-11-10 OF THE 1976 CODE, RELATING TO THE TIME FOR ELECTION OF SHERIFFS, TO PROVIDE THAT A COUNTY MAY HOLD A SHERIFF'S ELECTION EVERY FOUR YEARS DURING THE GENERAL ELECTION IN NON-PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION YEARS; AND TO AMEND SECTION 7-13-20 OF THE 1976 CODE, RELATING TO THE TIME FOR ELECTION OF CERTAIN COUNTY OFFICERS, TO PROVIDE THAT A COUNTY MAY HOLD A SHERIFF'S ELECTION EVERY FOUR YEARS DURING THE GENERAL ELECTION IN NON-PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION YEARS.
