S 1139 General Bill, By Leventis
    A Bill to amend Article 37, Chapter 5, Title 56, as amended, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to inspection of vehicles so as to delete provisions relating to annual inspection of vehicles, to delete provisions for licensing inspection stations, to provide that a vehicle that is not in proper condition must be inspected upon notice by the Department of Public Safety, to provide for an inspection station in each county to conduct the inspection, and to impose an additional three dollar fee on registration of vehicles to be remitted to the Department of Public Safety for administration and enforcement.
