    A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 8-11-17, SO AS TO EXTEND ELIGIBILITY FOR STATE EMPLOYEE BENEFITS TO TEMPORARY STATE EMPLOYEES, TO REQUIRE TEMPORARY EMPLOYEES TO MEET THE SAME ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS APPLICABLE TO PERMANENT EMPLOYEES, AND TO PROHIBIT DISCRIMINATION IN THE HIRING OF TEMPORARY EMPLOYEES BASED ON THIS ELIGIBILITY.
