S 1444 General Bill, By Peeler
    A Bill to amend Section 40-19-100, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to the qualifications for being licensed in this State as an embalmer or a funeral director, so as to provide that, at the request of an applicant for licensure, the South Carolina State Board of Funeral Service shall apply the time spent in school completing a regular course in an accredited embalming college or in an accredited mortuary college, depending upon the license sought, up to one year, toward satisfaction of the time required for service as an apprentice.
