Summary: Person or facility that packages venison for personal consumption may not package pig or boar
    A BILL TO AMEND CHAPTER 17, TITLE 47, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO MEAT AND MEAT FOOD, BY ADDING SECTION 47-17-75, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT IT IS NOT UNLAWFUL FOR A PERSON OR FACILITY THAT MAY LAWFULLY DRESS, PROCESS, PACKAGE, AND RETURN VENISON OF A DEER FRESHLY KILLED WHILE HUNTING TO THE OWNER FOR PERSONAL CONSUMPTION MAY ALSO DRESS, PROCESS, AND PACKAGE PORK FROM A PIG, HOG, OR BOAR FRESHLY KILLED WHILE HUNTING TO THE OWNER FOR PERSONAL CONSUMPTION.
